The Cotogno Room takes its name from the ancient quince tree growing in Ca’ de Mazapédar’s garden — one of those forgotten fruits that only the Romagna countryside still quietly keeps. The room reflects the same character: simple, authentic, carefully tended in every detail.
Looking for a farm stay for a countryside couple’s getaway? We’re not one, technically — it’s a regulated term tied to a working farm, and we’re a guest house. But if what you’re really after is a simple room, the garden right outside the window and a homemade breakfast, the Cotogno Room is probably what you’re looking for.
You won’t find a reception desk with a glass partition and a form to fill in. You’ll find a family. We are always on-site, at any hour, for any need — whether that’s advice on where to go, an iron, or simply a few words after a long day.
Breakfast, dinner, no need to go out
Breakfast is prepared by hand every morning: seasonal cakes, shortbreads with homemade jams from the garden’s fruit, eggs, toast, yoghurt, fresh fruit. In the evening, on request, we serve a full dinner at €25 per person — starter, main and side; wine is extra. A seasonal Romagna menu.
For those on a work assignment, this is the real difference: you arrive, park, eat, sleep, have breakfast, and leave. No need to leave the property. No pizzeria to hunt down after a long shift, no supermarket open at 8 pm.
Comfort & facilities
The room features air conditioning, TV with national and international channels, and high-speed Wi-Fi suitable for smart working and video calls. The shared bathrooms are two — both spacious, modern, always clean.

We are in San Lorenzo di Lugo, 8 km from Lugo town centre, 36 km from Ravenna, 27 km from the Imola Circuit, and just minutes from the main industrial areas of Bassa Romagna. Free private parking for cars, vans and work vehicles.
