Where exactly is Ca' de Mazapédar located?
We are at Via Sottofiume 1, San Lorenzo di Lugo, 48022 Lugo (RA), in the heart of the Bassa Romagna countryside. The property is easily reachable by car from the main motorway routes between Bologna and Ravenna.

How many rooms do you have and what types?
Ca' de Mazapédar has 4 personalised rooms, each named after fruits from the Romagnola garden:
- Nespolo – double room with private bathroom
- Cotogno – double room with shared bathroom
- Fico – quad room with shared bathroom
- Melograno – quad room with shared bathroom
Why do some rooms have a shared bathroom?
It is the original layout of the house. Room Nespolo has a private bathroom; the other three share two spacious bathrooms that are never overcrowded. We plan to add more private bathrooms in the future.
Is there a garden or outdoor areas?
Yes, our garden is one of the most loved spaces by guests. It is rich in forgotten fruits of the Romagnola tradition and offers tables in the shade of the trees and hammocks to relax. In summer it is the perfect place for a dinner or a quiet evening.
Is the property eco-friendly?
Yes, sustainability is one of the founding values of Ca' de Mazapédar. We use solar panels for clean energy production and low-consumption lighting. Our kitchen values local and seasonal produce, reducing waste and supporting the Romagnola territory.

Do you accept one-night stays?
Yes, we accept one-night stays, especially for travellers passing through or on business trips.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Before 3:00 PM or after 9:00 PM you can still arrive, with a 25 euro supplement; we are flexible about half an hour or so. For very late arrivals please let us know in advance so we can arrange things.
The check-out time is 11:00 AM, and after that the same 25 euro supplement applies.

Is it possible to arrive late at night?
Yes, it is possible. Simply let us know your expected arrival time in advance. After 9:00 PM there is a 25 euro supplement, though we are flexible about half an hour or so.
What are the quiet hours?
We ask guests to respect quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Is smoking allowed on the property?
No, Ca' de Mazapédar is a completely non-smoking property.

Is breakfast included?
Yes, breakfast is always included in the room price and is entirely home-made. Every morning you will find:
- Freshly baked cakes, tarts and biscuits
- Jams made from our garden fruits
- Yoghurt, cereals, fresh seasonal fruit
- Eggs and toast for savoury lovers
- Natural juices, milk and plant-based alternatives
Do you offer dinner?
Yes, dinner is available on request, every day except Sunday. It is an authentic Romagnola dinner, entirely home-cooked: simple traditional dishes with genuine local ingredients. It must be booked at least 2 hours in advance. Guests who only book a room can also enjoy dinner.
Can we use the kitchen to cook for ourselves?
Yes, the kitchen is available for guests. We only ask that you let us know at check-in so we can best organise the shared spaces.

Do you have Wi-Fi?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
Is there parking?
Yes, we have free parking in the courtyard for cars. There is also a dedicated space for bicycles.
Is the property suitable for families?
Absolutely yes, we warmly welcome families. On request we can provide a cot and a high chair.
Do you accept pets?
Yes, pets are welcome with a supplement of 15 euros per pet for the whole stay, not per night (maximum two pets per room). We ask for respect for the shared spaces and other guests.
Can I do laundry?
Yes: guests can use the washing machine and the dryer, 5 euros each. Handy on long stays, work trips or cycling tours.
Do you issue invoices?
Yes, we issue regular invoices for all guests, both for personal stays and business trips. Simply request one at booking or check-in.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, credit/debit cards and the main electronic payment methods.

Yes, Ca' de Mazapédar is a convenient accommodation for those travelling for treatment or visits at the Maria Cecilia Hospital in Cotignola, reachable in just a few minutes by car. We offer a familiar and peaceful environment for a restorative rest.
Are you close to Mirabilandia?
Mirabilandia is 48 km away, about 55 minutes by car: a day at the park, then back to the countryside for the night.
Are you a stopover point for the Al.Ba.Co. Cycling Route?
Yes, the property is a reference point for cyclists on the Al.Ba.Co. Route (Alfonsine-Bagnacavallo-Cotignola), the cycle tourism route in the Bassa Romagna. We have secure storage for bicycles.
